Pan Afric Impex (U) Ltd, a private Ltd company was incorporated in Uganda on 18th December 1997.

Pan Afric Impex (U) Ltd. is part of the Pan Afric Group of Companies which comprises of Pan Afric Commodities Ltd, Goha International (U) Ltd and Pan Afric Impex (U) Ltd.
Pan Afric Impex (U) Ltd. is the arm of the Group that deals with the processing and export of Uganda coffee.

Pan Afric Impex (U) Ltd has invested immense resources on state-of-the-art equipment to promote their coffee buying, processing and exporting business enterprise. This investment comprises a capital investment of over 6 million US Dollars and a projected turnover of 39 million US Dollars.
To provide a wider scope of accessibility, Pan Afric Impex (U) Ltd. has opened up offices in Kampala – Uganda, Khartoum – Sudan and Holland. This network of offices provides for a wider market leading to the increased generation of sales.

THE BOARD

The company is managed by the Executive Chairman of the Pan Afric Group of Companies, Mr. M. E. M. Hamid. The other Board Members are Executive Manager - Mr. Tarig Mohammed and The Company Secretary -Mr Didas Nkurunziza.
The Board Members are supported by a select group of highly trained Managers and a support staff numbering one hundred and forty two.
Mr M.E.M. Hamid is also an elected member of the Board of Uganda Coffee Trade Federation.
Pan Afric Impex (U) Ltd has already made an impact on the Ugandan economy and awarded numerous Awards.

STAFF
Pan Afric Impex (U) Ltd., employs a work force of about 350 staff.

Pan Afric Impex (U) Ltd. also regularly sends its staff on regular refresher courses which are conduct by the Uganda Coffee Development Authority and the Uganda Coffee Trade ederation. This ensures that the standards of production and the quality of the end product is second to none. This also enables the staff to always maintain a high level of understanding of the world requirements of the international coffee trade.
